Jade joined the team recently as our Marketing Executive specialising in Content creation and Social media management. Read on to discover why Jade decided to pursue a career in Marketing and what attracted her to the role here at Biofortuna

Hi Jade, tell us about your role at Biofortuna?

My role encompasses a variety of activities, from social media management and content creation to analysing data and conducting competitor research. As Marketing Executive, it’s also important for me to work with the scientific and commercial teams to ensure that I have a strong understanding of our offering and that we communicate it effectively.

 

Why did you decide to work in Marketing?

I’ve always considered myself a creative person, so when I started studying Business Management at University, Marketing quickly became the most natural fit. One of my modules involved planning and delivering a Marketing campaign for a local business and I fell in love with it – I really enjoyed the mix of creative thinking and data-driven strategy.

 

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I love that marketing never stands still. The constant change gives me the opportunity to keep learning and adapting, so that I can find new ways to make an impact.

What’s one part of your role that might surprise people?

The amount of research, planning and analysis that goes into it. Marketing is incredibly fun and creative, but there’s also a lot of strategy and research that drives it.

 

Why did you choose Biofortuna?

Although I don’t come from a scientific background, I was drawn to Biofortuna by the chance to contribute to something meaningful. Additionally, the ability to see the results of my efforts and continuously have input on our Marketing strategy is something I’m really keen to be part of. Being part of a growing company where I can develop alongside the business really excites me.

 

What do you like to do outside of work?

I’m happiest when I’m busy! I love to read and, over the past few years, have developed a passion for fitness – after work you can usually find me at some sort of gym class.

I’m also always on the lookout looking for new concerts to see, new things to do and trips to plan – I’m excited to visit Sri Lanka in February!
