Whether you are coordinating early-stage proof-of concept trials, through to late-stage Phase IV trials and beyond, we can provide clinical sample storage according to Good Clinical Practice standards with next day access as standard.
We provide secure storage of clinical samples from Phase 0 through to Phase IV and have a clear and straightforward pay-on-demand pricing model.
Samples can be stored at ambient temperatures, +2-8°C, -20°C, -80°C and vapour phase liquid nitrogen (-196°C).

Complete backup arrangements are in place for all our facilities.
Our processes and procedures have been diligently developed to ensure sample integrity is always of the highest standard.
We operate to the principles of Good Clinical Practice and Good Laboratory Practice.
Upon completion of the clinical study, we will continue to store samples under our Human Tissue Authority licence. Samples can be retained for future research purposes if required.
We also have appropriate procedures in place for the repatriation or disposal of samples.
Additionally, to support research integrity and reliability our services include Cell Line Quality Control Testing.
Sample security and accessibility
Sample data is stored on a secure, HIPAA compliant, fully auditable, cloud-based laboratory inventory management system, while bespoke, secure customer portals provide visibility of your samples throughout their time in storage.
We can also manage the movement of samples from clinical sites for centralised processing, storage or onward distribution to analytical laboratories, helping to connect sample logistics with your wider clinical sample management requirements. As part of this process, our team can manage and resolve sample queries with clinical sites before samples reach the analytical laboratory, reducing the administrative burden on laboratory teams and helping to avoid delays to analysis.
When samples are required for analysis or other study activities, our team can coordinate their retrieval and despatch, with next-day despatch available where required.
Samples can also be placed directly into storage according to the requirements of your study, with dedicated clinical sample storage facilities available across a broader range of temperature conditions for longer-term archiving.
Accreditations
We are regulated by the Human Tissue Authority for the storage of human relevant material, the Animal and Plant Health Agency for animal health bi-products and authorised by the Health and Safety Executive for GMO material to level 1 and 2.
We adhere to the standards of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and the guidelines of the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH). We operate to the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
We are also licensed by the UK Home Office for the storage of controlled drugs.
