Biofortuna shortlisted for 2020 Bionow awards.

We are delighted to share the news that we have been shortlisted for the 2020 Bionow awards in the category of Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Now in their nineteenth year, the Bionow awards celebrate the innovation and impact of the Life sciences sector in the North of England.

A panel of judges reviewed detailed case studies and supporting documentation from all the entrants and identified four from each category that demonstrated the innovation, flexibility and impact required to go forward to the first ever virtual award ceremony on February 4th.

“Our Scientific and Operational teams have been working around the clock to help our customers meet the challenges set by the NHS and international mass testing initiatives. And whilst awards were the furthest thing from their mind, it is still really pleasing to have their efforts recognised in this way” commented Dr. Nick Ash, Biofortuna CEO.

Geoff Davison, CEO of Bionow said “Each year we are amazed at the high quality of applications that we receive for the Bionow Awards. With the disruption and challenges that we have all experienced last year, the level of innovation and outstanding results that have been delivered is truly astounding.”

He added “How the sector has come together and worked tirelessly is remarkable and shows that we really are world-class! We very much look forward to celebrating and honouring these achievements at the Bionow Digital Awards Ceremony on 4th February”.
