The Biofortuna Difference

Freeze dried for convenience and user accuracy: SSPGo is an improved method of SSP where the reaction vessels contain all the ingredients for amplification, including Taq polymerase. There are no requirements for separate buffers or enzymes; no need to calculate buffer and enzyme volumes, the user merely adds an appropriate amount of DNA.  This methodology minimises the risk of user error or contamination.

Freeze dried for stability and environmentally friendly: Biofortuna’s proprietary procedures keep the activity of the PCR reaction stable for over a year at temperatures up to  30^°C  removing costly thermal packaging and bags of ice whilst eradicating spoilage via shipping delays.

Freeze dried for easy storage: SSPGo can be stored at 4^°C to 30^°C; so for the ultimate convenience you can keep the tests ready to go at ambient temperatures at the lab bench. This also reduces pressure on valuable laboratory fridge and freezer space.

Designed for high quality genotyping results: Our proprietary procedures deliver highly accurate PCR reducing common HLA genotyping ambiguities.  The kits are regularly updated to make available interpretation files that are never more than eight months out of date.
